6.00 (average) It's kinda stiff.. And sounds a little pretentious. Like typical manhwa, it has the 'good guy/girl is poor but tough dude/tomboy, potential love is rich, damn spoilt but that's ok because he's actually misunderstood (omg >_>) and so is the main chara" ... I almost feel like stopping already lol. But I'll finish it, it's short anyway. Art's not bad, and maybe the Kng won't be so emo brat later. And all the bad guys so dumb and crude. Is this possible for a manhwa though? :x
2nd chapter is better, you can feel more sympathetic and more anticipative.. Not sure when updates will come though.

6.00 (average) it's sweet, it had potential - but it didn't really go all the way, unfortunately. Nonetheless, you'll get Kyousuke Motomi's usual cast - the vaguely-misunderstood hero who doesn't present the best of impressions but has a good heart all the same; and the heroine who blissfully and willingly ignores the often-threatening truth; and the relationship between them will always be a mix of sort-of squabbling, taking care of each other and "omg why why the hell am I still here, with YOU" -ness. In this case, not so much the latter - Leo's too naively adorable and Yuiko likes adorable animals too much. And not to forget, of the usual cast, you also will get - the ever-doting and often hilarious brother/son/daughter/granddaughter complex heh heh. It makes a nice shoujo anyway, and Motomi has this style where he/she just can't seem to take it seriously and has too much fun playing with the character interaction hahaha. It can take a bit off the plot maybe, so somethings just won't get as dramatic as I wish but still. Entertaining, with a touch of sweetness. And at least, even if Motomi repeats stereotypes, you don't feel like you're reading a duplicate of say, Dengeki Daisy.

Fantastic Children

6.00 (average) This could have been better. There was an eerie, morbid feel to the concept and the pale, white-haired children with blue eyes who can't - mustn't - possess a grip on the corporeal world on Earth(?), moving through passages of memory, time and dimensions, searching, searching for something or someone. There is darkness to the story, and souls are revealed to possess more danger and power than initially thought ...
BUT somehow my favourite character turned into a total drama, angst freakazoid. D: And the story was there, just presented with a touch too much angst and sci-fi. D: Animation is a tad flat, I feel, I think the angst and concept could have been carried forth better with a different style of art, though it did work somewhat in the beginning.. Everything IS explained properly though, towards the end so that's a plus. Don't expect complete satisfaction though; remaining bittersweet is somewhat crucial to the story. :sigh: I can't remember the 'sweet' part of bittersweet here...

Kigurumi Planet

6.00 (average) This was cute. Basically there's been this bunch of kigurumi aka cute-animal-costume-wearers going around, performing stints and stuff. They're super cute and plushy~ But no one has ever seen them take off their animal suits; no one has ever seen their faces. Daisuke has the luck to bump into one of the gang, a pink kigurumi bunny - which falls in love with him at first sight. :o Like it's not odd enough to be lovers with someone who never takes off their full bodysuit, vague (and I mean vague) sci-fi elements come into play - Are these Kigurumi even human?? All in all, it's quite a cute and sweet story and you have to love the sweet awkwardness between Daisuke and Arita, the bunny kigurumi. Still - depth? What depth? Hahahaha, you must be joking. There will be o_o omg cliche moments, sweet moments, strange 'this is MY sci-fi logic' moments, romantic bits and yet sometimes, even actual SURPRISES. Mind you, not everyone may like the surprise :cough:whhyyyArita:cough:
Plus, Arita's a dude. ;)
P.S.Rereading in search of Arita's full name. Lololol Daisuke, your boots. You are SO not straight.

6.00 (average) Erm.. Incest. Me no quite likee. And it's not work-safe at all lol. It had its funny moments, its sweet moments though.. And wasn't easy to stop reading. Me eyes. lol Still, it was funny. And Yaoi fans will like, yes... And art wasn't bad..
The funny: Brother interactions:
Bigger brother is charismatic, and good at PA and 'selling'; a professional businessman. Yet he feels over-shadowed by his little brother, who upon hitting puberty, almost abruptly developed a rather muscular, 'manly' figure and becomes a renowned sportsman. All the girls are after his little brother! They don't even look like brothers anymore.

Some brotherly jealousy then issues. If that's not enough, along comes even more complications.. Otouto is in love with aniki. And goes on to show it the 'teenage boy' way. >_> It's not quite my taste but it is strangely comical...

6.00 (average) This flopped because it became over-shoujo-ised. :c Good: Funny interactions between protagonist and her 'new' family of yakuza, traditionalist vs modern, funny flailing as protagonist tries to hide her new yakuza background. Bad: The love interest. I want to hit him. D: It makes zero sense, the romance most of the time. I can't sympathise with the romance at all. that took away SO much.

5.75 (average) Presentable art (a lil like 07 Ghost), sort of likable kid main chara, cute humour between kiddie friends, hilarious misunderstandings. The bad? Shotacon could haaapppppeeennn. >_< Kid becomes orphan, is poor but is hard worker and way too independent. Still has the kid mentality, thinking that he will figure it out somehow (so cute lol). Along comes rich uncle. Noes, kidnap! Maid cosplay ensue and light harassment. Something will figure back to his parent(s). And then I stopped somewhere because I like this kid too much to see him pedoed. T_T Higher mark for likeableness, no higher because 1. not finished, 2. hintings of con.

Edit: Found new scanlations. >_> Looks like the shotacon did not proceed, phew.

Goshimei Bushou Sanada Yukimura - Kageroi

Seen: partially

Last Updated: Jan 02, 2012

5.75 (average) ...Potential, but the character development(?) could be a little less messy. xD It's basically another take on the Sanada Yukimura 'legend', this time with him being somewhat of a government 'hostage' and having far too much time to waste while cooped up. Thinking Sengoku Basara's Yukimura, all red enthusiasm and energy? This one's a direct opposite - cold and somewhat lacklustre, lying around reading books, spearman form wasting away to the max - oh gawd, he's so weak. So why is Lord Hideyoshi ordering him to take care of the latest serial murderer in Edo?
Add shota ninja Sarutobi Sasuke to the mission and the fact that they do NOT get along, and - you've ruined Yukimura's perfectly sedate life - ...you get a kinda slightly boring mess. lol

It's a little funny if only to go "lol, wut" at the "I ish srs" take on the historical characters (whai shota ninja //shot). Needs more work to appeal though. xD Art style reminds me a lil of Karakara Kemuri but it's a tad amateurish with angles. An all right read, but it feels like some of the hinting and building up fell a bit flat ultimately. Apparently, the oneshot got serialised. I have no idea how that would turn out... xDD

5.25 (moderate) This was engaging enough at first, hinted heavily at more possible depth and backstories and then - went NOWHERE. Oi. It had certain events in the story that had quite a bit of impact, a couple of interesting side characters; minus, main characters can annoy so much after a while, side characters not given the right attention, neither did the plotline. I feel that this series wanted to go somewhere but got lost... If it had been presented differently, it could have been a lot better.
