Darn, I meant to comment and agree with almost all the anime recommended, but I
was too busy! Gomen!
Okay, I'll answer question 6 : 60 friends (o,o) plus 44 anime = 104
Luckily, I had a nap earlier.. or I might have fallen asleep.. Doesn't help that
Haven's new music surprised me and made me lost count twice.. You didn't do that
on purpose, did you? Oh, and
I kinda guessed that all the questions are sort of related to you.. that's why I
knew that you were probably past episode 14 of DGM. :P Oh, and so which group
was it that still had its layout? No one could answer that..
Aaliyah! It's been too long! And gosh, you and Salma seem SO busy! And you're
moving around so much.. Thanks for remembering us, even so! So, you're going to
a course to learn how to write well? Cool... Hey, if the animal section gets
updated, what animal will I be? And I
agree about the music.. most of the time, I turn it off..
What about something more lyrical?
Hey, priincess likes Saiunkoku Monogatari as well! ^.^ Nice to know someone else
is a fan.. Actually, Temari loves it too.. but she's got exams so she didn't
come here..
Sweet Miku's banner is cute! Hope it gets added into the banner section too..
but then, priincess' banners haven't been added either..
Aww.. Salma, you're sweet.. Ooh, going green, it seems! I wouldn't mind working
at a park, myself ^.^ Only my schedule's kind of full with studying.. sigh.. not
that it helps much.. I've got a study block *rolls eyes* Anyway, once again, you
ARE smart! 100 for a Bio essay! And the topic looks complicated too. Heck, we
here, are so 'kiasu' (competitive) with our 12 subjects *bleep* and yet,
compared to your standard, our Bio is pretty lousy. I was like @.@ when I saw
your topic.. I don't believe we start learning that topic until we're like, 18..
Okay, totally having a bimbo moment.. What's up with me using all this
"like" and "totally" all of a sudden!?!
So, I have 12 subjects... getting a few As doesn't really help since we are
supposed to try and score close to all As.. And the ones I scored in are Math,
and all the subjects related to English Essay Writing. The others.. sink..
Anyhow! That's all too depressing so let's move on to brighter topics! Actually,
I like Blood+ too! I should have said so earlier! Sorry. Oh and one anime at a
time. Keep the ammo in reserve, Salma.
Can't think of a really A-standard, good review for what I want to recommend...
so maybe, I will tomorrow.. So I'll just say that it's Honey and Clover! And
give a casual, chara-based review...
This is a slice-of-life anime, revolving around five art college students and
their relationships. There's our main chara, Takemoto, who comes off as a bit
shy and naive, but has a heart, and strong will. Not an artistic nature, but has
a quiet and observant nature. Most of the narrative is from him and we get to
see a special growing up arc for him, that concerns some tough travelling..
Loved the anime art then.
Hagu, a young lady who ought to be over twenty... but looks like like a twelve
year old! Seriously pretty though. Love her Goldilocks hair.. Anyway, she's an
art prodigy, but is rather reserved and even more shy than Takemoto. She sees
the world differently and conveys it through her art. At first, she may come off
as a little 'closed off' and immature; No thanks to her uncle, who keeps boys
away..though he trusts Takemoto enough with her. But her character does expand..
in ways that could be painful.
Then, there's Morita, the crazy, impulsive genius who dots on Hagu. He has
skills in nearly everything he puts his mind to. Unfortunately, he is too
fickle. So, he ends up doing odd jobs all the time, to the extend that he keeps
on having to repeat the same college year since he misses the classes. His sculptures are on par with Hagu's watercolours, making them something
like rivals.. Not that they really care.. Did I mention that he's crazy? It sure
is fun to watch his antics.. Behind his carefree behaviour, however, there is
more than meets the eye.
Mayama is the supposedly serious and most all-together of the lot. But he isn't
really.. He has a crush on an older woman, Rika, who he works for in her
company. But it seems severely one-sided to the point that Mayama gets labelled
as 'stalker' by Morita. :P He also has rivalry with one of his colleagues,
Norita (or something like that) but in actual fact, they seem really alike..
This becomes rather poignant especially in the middle of the first season and
the rest of the second. Mayama isn't very artistic. His skills lie in
organization, really, so I guess he must be studying design at the art college..
Mayama is rather concerned for his best friend, Ayumi, but he doesn't seem to be
able to cope with her feelings for him..
Ayumi, as said is Mayama's best friend, and she also becomes Hagu's first
friend. She has an open and confident demeanour, which along with her good
looks, makes her rather attractive to guys, to the point her male childhood
friends are like her fan club.. Yet,
Mayama can't love her.. a bitter fact since Ayu is bestowed on him. Try as she
might, she can't get him to love her and can't get herself to let him go..
Things get complicated when Norita seems to have taken a liking of her.. and
Mayama is so protective.. Ayu specialises in pottery making, and is really
talented in it. No one understands clay like her.. strange since one could call
her dotty. Don't under-estimate her though. Her temper is to be feared! Mayama
should know, with all the Iron Lady Kicks he got..
Their relationship is close-knitted yet in throes. Takemoto has feelings for
Hagu, while Hagu is confused as to whether she likes or hates Morita.. He does
bother her so, with all those weird tricks and schemes.. Her uncle's
protectiveness does seem a little much, as well... And to add on, we have
Ayu-Mayama-Rika-(maybe)Norita. Complicated..
Well, loved the watercolours used for the art and the music was spot on, most of
the time! This is from J.C. Staff too.. so it ought to be good!
Me wonders what kashikosa and abul would think seeing their group become a
'small talk cafe'. Haha. We'll keeping it alive and having a bit of fun, at
least..
Where's abul anyway? I thought he said that he would be back after a month? It's
been a month and more already.. Salma hasn't come by either..
Hey, what a coincidence that you both lived in Jakarta, at one point! Flooding
can be an issue here too.. .I remember, when I was a kid, and they hadn't fixed
the draining system and all that.. the floodwater would be up to the third step
of the stairs.. We were like, "do you think we'll see some snakes in
there?" "Crocodile!" "Haha, no school!" ... brings back
memories..
In our capital city.. jams are way too common. I hate trying to navigate the
roads when it's rush hour time. I mean, someone will find some way or other to
avoid most of the heavy jams but that means we'll be sitting in the car/taxi,
all cramped together, going through toll booth after toll booth.. Sometimes, the
taxi driver even drives us towards the wrong way just for extra cash.. I
rather use the LRT, provided someone comes with me. Thankfully, I don't live
there. Would be major distraction, what with all the shops and manga
stores..
O.O Temari, you move around quite a bit, don't you? Wow, and both Singapore and
China are such competitive places too.. Shanghai?
Nice... Since everyone's said a little of where they live, I guess I should drop
a little hint.. it's in East Malaysia. Okay, that isn't much but
anyway!
It's nice to see rustic kopitiam when all the new developments keep coming up..
One of the streets here that used to be so nice and quiet and traditional is
now.. not. T.T Well, if I just ignore the new restaurants and their honking huge
signs, it might just still be the same.. the trees and courtyards are still
there, thank goodness.
Well, see you! And I bet your Chinese name isn't that bad..mine's considered a
little too smple.

You know... this is becoming really cultural, don't you think? Does
this theme have anything really to do with Studio Ghibli movies?
... well, I guess I should time my recommendations better
then... shucks, I don't really have any anime I really want to recommend
now..
Hehe.. did I get Haven into a watch-D-Gray-Man spree? Hmm.. apparently already
up to the 2nd ending right? Where are you getting your videos from,
anyway?
Question 5 : Episode 14 is where the 2nd ending is..
Actually I was actually running through a blog to find that.. .
Then I thought, "This is stupid, just google it, idiot."
Ah well... Okay, thought of something to recommend; Saiunkoku
Monogatari.
Saiunkoku Monogatari translates to Colourcloud Palace. And it sure is colourful.
^.^ Set in a place that looks suspiciously like Ancient China, this anime is
about Kou Shuurei, a young girl who lives in poverty... and yet her house is
huge... O.O A sure sign that she isn't all she seems.. And yup, so it is. This
confident lady can teach unruly students, bake 'pau's to die for, brew fragrant
tea (well, better than that bitter concoction her dad cooks up, anyway) , clean
that enormous house of hers, and is super-intelligent to boot! Yet.. she doesn't
seem to have a clue about some things..like the fact that Seiran, the guy she
grew up with, is dropping hints.. .
Anyway, one day, surprise, surprise, she is asked to marry the emperor! Well,
with tons of money offered, she says yes, of course. But
it ain't a fairytale marriage.. the emperor isn't exactly agreeing to this
marriage..
Saiunkoku's art, in my opinion, is rather attractive, with oriental details and
a lovely colour scheme. And yes, lots of bishies, go feast your eyes, girls!
*rolls eyes* The characters are all rather memorable, with their little quirks
and flaws, despite the fact that some have murmured that if you change the
hairstyles of the guys, you would be confused as to who's who.. . Story
and plot is a treat, with mystery, royal powerplay, a little fantasy, thriller
and yes... romance. I suppose this is something like reverse harem, though I
never really focused on that. To get a good idea of all it has to offer; go
watch it, duh!
Surprise surprise! Salma's BACK! You've been gone ages!
I forgive you! I wasn't even mad or anything.. .Aww.. sounds like you've been
having a tough month, Salma! Don't worry, you'll do great, since you're so
smart.. gambatte!
My exams? Heh heh.. Not too good actually... I mean I passed everything, got a couple of As but
really, I ought to be doing better than this.. anyway..
Oh, this scavenger hunt? It's a lil contest Haven's set up. We can get points
and all that, by recommending anime and having members agree with us; answering
the question of the week; advertising the group, etc. You can see the list of
things to do underneath the banners.. and the list of anime further up there!
Psst... Actually, I think this is just Haven's way of making RainFalling Love
more popular.. I don't mind.. makes the group more active!
Life's been okay... what do you want to know? Well, I've made a couple of friends while you were away.
That sounds mean for some reason.. Anyway, I also invited them here, and so, let
me introduce you! Though I think you have net them before..
Temari, Gaby, meet Salma! She's one of my first friends in Minitokyo! And she's
also the one who introduced me to this group! ^.^
I think Haven100 has the ending song of Evangelion! it's called Beautiful World
and is sung by Utada Hikaru. However.. I'm not completely sure since I've only
heard a bit of it in the first few minutes of the movie's trailer.. so am I
right?
Wow, temari's been busy! Well, I did coax her to be more active in the
competition.. Temari, you actually counted our layouts!? Terlalu rajin lah.. (Too
hardworking)
Happy Really Belated Birthday, garnett! Sorry for being late..
Ooh, I liked Howl's Moving Castle too! I even joined the group here in
Minitokyo!
Nice wall, Rika! Being original, I see..
Hmm... I recommend Nabari no Ou! I already wrote a review/rant last time.. I
don't have to repeat myself, do I? Well, love the concept, the short-but-sweet action, the witty humour.. Love the
apathetic-but-oddly-cute-even-while-manipulating main chara, Miharu! And the
art.. Like i have said before, I am a
sucker for watercolour backgrounds with nice details..
priincess has been busy too! Hope they join!
Before I forget, WELCOME kawaiihime04,
behindhersecrets and SwEet-Miku! Enjoy yourselves!
I have heard of Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo too! And seen the screencaps! It's
definitely on my to watchlist. It's a wonderful story and has beautiful art.
Come on, people! Watch it!
No offence taken, Gaby! Floods aren't at all nice.. Well, everything has its ups
and downs, I suppose..
Argh, I told you I haven't done han yu ping yin for a while, Temari! Yi is
actually more for the Chinese character for 'one' right? me..
My name isn't actually rain..'Yu' is combined with another symbol so it's quite
a different looking word.. Your Chinese name can't be that bad, Temari!
Breakfast then was ~noodles~ from a good old coffee shop or KopiTiam as some
call it.. Why don't you take a look at Laverrine's new piece? I find it rather
nice to describe/analyse..
Oh really, Gaby? Must be hard on a doctor then... I hear that Jakarta's
practically the safest city in Indonesia, though... wonder if I'm right.. But i
suppose they weren't thinking about it, pollution-wise.
Oh and I've replied to your comment, Gaby! Do check..
Haha.. true, I did leave out some scans.. but only because they had been
quarantined.. Temari is so observant.. ^.^
I don't know if it rains more in Indonesia or not.. I just remember that when I went there once in March a few years ago, I
think, it was really hot! And, no offence.. but we get haze when the farmers in
Indonesia start burning their fields to clear the land.. It's a kind of sore
topic here.. let's not dwell too long on that!
When the weather gets that hot.. I love rain too! Actually one of the chinese
characters in my name has the symbol of rain, "yi".. haha.
And what have you analyzed then, Temari?
See you, it's 8:34am and I should go have my breakfast...
I'll answer question 4! I think that it is aiiroprincessnoel right?
I liked Spirited Away too! Alas, that's gone already...
Nera: Cheer up! Don't feel down..
mm...Kamen no Maid Guy.. I've heard of it.. it's not quite my taste but I heard that it has a rather erm..outstanding
style. A big burly man in a maid costume.. Had a laugh at the idea LOL.
Ooh pretty pictures! ^.^
Hey! our points have been added up! And it looks like members who join because
we invite them get 2 points. Now that's encouraging.
Nice to know that you were inspired Haven, to write and draw fanfic. I have
ideas d=but very little will and skill to get them out.. Instead, I've been
watching D Gray Man.. Haha.
Okay, I think I will recommend D Gray Man then!
Summary:
Allen Walker is an exorcist, part of the Black Order that exists to exterminate
the Akuma, and save the suffering souls that were used to make the Akuma. Their
primary enemy is the Millennium Earl, a devilish character whose very demeanor
tells us that he is up to no good. Allen Walker, try as he might to live his
life to the full, is prominent because not only is his arm an Anti-Akuma Weapon,
he is cursed with a strange left eye... There is definitely a dark theme.. but
thankfully plenty of laughs, action and hope as well!
Animation is good, clean and attractive. Music has its ups and downs, but the
good pieces are great and the others are all a matter of taste, really. Story is
intriguing. And I really like Allen. And Lavi. Haha, both have problems with one
eye. And the side characters are memorable, a definite plus...so.. what not to
like?!
Hmm... Haven, since I've advertised Minitokyo once.. does it count if I
advertise RFL or MT again?
Sel: You're not answering me... but it's okay.. it's just a simple question; you
are reading Dogs, right?
Haven... eBay? I
guess you really like shoujo.. ^.^
merged: 06-02-2008 ~ 11:57am
oh and this might sound a bit out of nowhere, but..Haven, wanna be friends?
Okay! Nabari no Ou category has been made! Though... it seems like all the art
and scans haven't been moved yet. And I made a stupid mistake by including manga
Artist.. T.T I didn't think that I had to follow it so strictly.. But anyway!
It's there!
Rainy season for you, Temari? Well, I think normally there should be more rain
here.. but then, for some reason, we went through a period of nearly a week with
absolutely no rain.. The HEAT! And then we heard thunder twice in the day, the
rain bugs even came, but the rain didn't.. T.T Finally.. thankfully, third time
lucky! Or we would have died from the heat.. now, it is raining regularly.
Normal Malaysian weather! ^.^
Haha. A lot of my posts here in Minitokyo sound like persuasive writing, even my
comments on art sound like that too. I'm just too bored, I suppose.. I used to
write all these dramatic short reviews for books, especially in RFL. Yet the
posts became WAY too long..LOL.
WOW... Gaby's a doctor... so smart! Doctor Gaby... I join St John Ambulance but
I'm almost useless in bandaging.. haha. Don't tell the other doctors here.. i
would be 'axed' if they found out. Hippocratic oath? Sounds like hypocrite oath
lol. I hope that isn't the cse. :P
Thanks for joining Rainfalling Love! It's nice having friends in my groups.. I
really appreciate it!
Prove that ads work.. ^.^
Oh, Temari, I'm hardworking.. just not always for the right thing.
Haha.
The AMV for Spirited Away reminded me of how long it has been since I watched
the movie.. I don't even remember watching the ending! Well, I remember Sen
saying "we'll meet again" but that's it.. The scene with them falling
reminds me of Cat Returns.. ^.^ Well, since it's Studio Ghibli's too, no worry
about copyright. The
original MV is a bit old but it's still lovely. Thanks for sharing!
Oh, and Gaby... I've started reading Mort.. It was better than I thought it
would be! Death actually seems more human than the humans themselves despite his
er..deathly appearance..
See you. Hey the thunder's stopped. Which means I can go on being online!
Goodie!
Hurray! Advertising worked! WELCOME GABY_CHAN AND TEMARI! I'm so happy that you
are here! ^.^ I certainly hope that you will enjoy your time here! Oh, Haven,
can they join in the contest too?
Hehe, I'm currently first? Erm, I agreed with Yulia's anime so add one mark for
her right?
Yay, Sel likes Samurai Champloo too! Hey you read Dogs right? I like that manga
as well! ^.^ I'm up to chapter 28 because the scanlations are not done. What
about you?
Haha, Zel is competitive? Just look at what I am doing! :P
Haven, you're welcome. Nice
Welcome sign! It's Air right? ;P Well, I wish that it didn't get cut off by the
advertisements but I love the lighting! I'm
not doing very well in my vector just yet.. I'm too fickle, I get distracted or
just too dissatisfied with it.. But I have to force myself otherwise I'll never
achieve my goal.. Anyway, whether or not you actually submit art in Minitokyo,
you clearly are making a wonderful contribution to Minitokyo, and Rainfalling
Love! I'm thankful that Rainfalling Love has become active again after this
contest began..
Okay, I really should get offline. Thunder's booming.. don't want my computer
fried lol.
Saw the videos, Gaby-chan! Hmm... Princess Mononoke looks quite interesting and
I love their theme! Spirited Away's... I'm afraid I wasn't quite paying
attention to it..
Anyway, yes, mods are busy busy! Can't afford to badger them for the category..
still, I really do wonder if they are getting help or not? I think they do need
some assistance... can't depend on Sheqel alone to maintain the website's server
existence.. and all the bugs.. ah well.
Please join Rainfalling Love! Not only will it help me in the contest, I would
love having another pal there.. My closer friends there are all so busy ao I
haven't seen them online for ages... T.T Well, at least, the other members are
friendlier to me now. Don't worry about participation. i will 'prompt' you so
that you won't ever be at loss at what to say..
Whoo! That means Yulia will have four points! Wow.. I couldn't find the answer
when I searched with google..
congrats!
Happy Memorial Day to you too, Haven! The theme I'm interested in? SKY! Haha,
ain't that typical? But I'm still trying to learn how to vector my own pics and
all... I'm quite okay with extraction, extending and all that, but I want to be
better than that...
Glad to know someone here likes Samurai Champloo! Oh and you're going to watch
GunXSword too? Hehe. It's not the best anime ever but it's fairly entertaining
and it has a certain theme that will make you ponder the difference between evil
and good.. And I liked Van's weapon and style.. ^.^ So enjoy!
I watched part of Ouran and yes, it's great! Funny how the richies are all so
weird.. and shh... don't spoil the secret any further! :P
Oh wait.. that means Yulia will have 5 points then...
Haha.
Nice vector, Lunariha! You have a crush on Lelouch all right.. Will she get
points too? I hope so..
Hmm... what can I do now to get points? Oh I know. *Advertises Minitokyo
...again*
Please don't try to look for me on Friendster though. I'm seriously inactive
there..
See you!

Oh and while I have not watched much of Jigoku Shoujo Futakomori, the theme is
alluringly dark and creepy.. Due to my recent lack of patience, I'm not going
off to look for the episodes though since it's mainly episodic.... But it's
good, from what I hear! And I like the designs! ^.^ Points for dear Haven!
Yatta! Gaby's back! I'll listen to the music when I have time... and don't worry
about 'infecting' us! I just 'advertised' my other group here and then
'promoted' Samurai Champloo over there. Haha.
Thanks for the congrats! It's a bit early though.. I am not exactly hopeful
about the majority of my results.. but at least I have more free time..
Ah well, life goes on, can't do anything about it. time is merciless. It doesn't
let one go back and do it over... but it's one new experience every stage, for
everyone.
hey there! I did a little invite on one of groups Studio Ghibli
(http://studio-ghibli.minitokyo.net) and so here it is!
Quote by aozoraskies
Hope to see other members here... how about setting up some little competition
or other to liven things up? Like one of my groups RainFalling Love
(http://rainfallinglove.minitokyo.net/).
Which reminds me! *cough*..advertisement time..*cough* Would anyone want to join
RainFalling Love? It's not a group that completely consists of elites and we
aren't as famous as say, Paint~o~rama and Vector Wallers.... But what I love
about this group is the people! I can meet a lot of personalities here.. and it
was my first group where I met some of my first friends on Minitokyo. Everyone
makes an effort to keep the group lively and with Haven100's new competition, we
are particularly active. ^.^ It's a group that mainly supports (loves!) hetero
romance, but we are all pals there so it's like a social club. Haha. Come along
and take a look, people!
Okay, i'm done, I think.
Hehe. Proud of me, Haven?
Aww, Nera, how disappointing it must be! Never mind, he's definitely not worth
it. Forget about him! :p
Hmm... Salma's been really busy, I think. And she said that she doesn't really
know how to do the layout thing and all... so it really should go to Haven. Oh
and hey! Give melymay marks for helping out an admin! ^.^ And also, since you
agree with Yulia, she gets marks too!
Haha. Aren't I charitable?
Beautiful layout, Haven! It doesn't go with the theme I'm planning for but I bet
someone would love it. Why don't you put it out on the userpage customisation
forum and ask?
Anime recommendation; WARNING, this might be long.
Samurai Champloo
An anime that stands out for its daring, bold streak and fusion of R&B as
well as good old Japanese culture. I find it a hilarious yet profound watch, and
oddly educative. Right from the beginning, we are told, "This work is not
an accurate historical portrayal. LIKE WE CARE. Now shut up and enjoy the
show." Which pushes us right into the defiant and cynical mood that
characterizes Samurai Champloo at once. :P
Despite the fact that the story is set in feudal Japan, we get a blend of hip
hop, modern culture, titbits of western cum the east history, Japanese
traditions, fighting arts and best of all, humour you will never get back then!
haha. Summary: Fuu works in a restaurant until she accidentally irritates some
thugs. She is 'rescued' by Mugen...for an odd price. Mugen kicks the thugs'
a**es but makes an even worse ruckus. Enter Jin and a fight begins.
Unfortunately circumstances are not meant to be and they are interrupted and
sent to execution. One thing leads to another and they end up tagging Fuu to
look for a specific someone.. very much a reluctant trio. [img=http://img360.imageshack.us/img360/2692/showphpkb2.th.jpg]
First character : Fuu. A 15 year old girl with a hardworking but stubborn
streak, working as a waitress, Fuu might come off as your typical 'pretty face'
shoujo; but nope. Along with the other two main characters, she is not to be
underestimated! Possibly useless in fighting, she is still formidable as this
girl stores a dash of cunning, much determination and... an unbelievable
appetite! Pics:
Second chara: Mugen. Comes off as surly, selfish, and stubborn. And sticks to
it. Haha. No worries, there IS character development. But without this
character, the show wouldn't be so darn funny. Mugen is a wandering samurai who
fights for ...food. Talk about motivated.. His skills as a fighter are awesome though. Not only is he handy with his
sword (erm, that sounded weird), his fighting style has been compared to a
mixture of breakdance+martial arts+capoeira . There aren't many good pics of him
out there... He's the type that looks better in action, with his shifting
expressions, and rapid acrobatics. So if you wanna know him... watch him!
Third chara : Jin. *blush* It's hard not to fall for him after I watched the
last few episodes, forgive me. At first, one would think that he is the typical
stereotype for the 'cool guy'. Dark locks, mysterious, attractive demeanor...
but in the end, flat.. however, thankfully, that's not all there is to him! This
samurai possesses deadly skills yet he too is a wanderer, hiring himself out.
Stoic and calm as he is, he too has his dark secret. It isn't too obvious,
luckily. But man, he looked so good in
the last few episodes..
Mugen and him hold a grudge against each other because both are equal in a fight
... a fight that was not resolved due to interference... and they sure don't
like each other..
All in all, Samurai Champloo proves to be thrilling despite its somewhat
episodic style. With its disregard for real, down-to-earth facts, it pokes fun
at some issues, providing a humorous watch that is comparable to that of
Ouran... and somehow, it makes me more aware of Japan's historical and political
issues..
I definitely recommend it to those who can keep an open mind and want a good mix
of laughs, action, mind stimulation and..hey, maybe even some love. Oh and I
loved their ending theme "Shiki no Uta".
Told you it would be long. I
should write a proper review for Minitokyo someday..
See you! *gathers points*

Muahaha, I pushed loads of comments out.
Hello! To everyone!
I forgot to tell you guys, I think... but I had exams for 3 weeks so I didn't
get to go online. And when I tried to comment twice, Minitokyo was having probs
and my comment just disappeared. Hence, my silence..
. Ah well, I'm back!
Welcome back, nisnoopy! I don't know who you are... but I sure hope I will.
Laptop? Nice.. so convenient. I remembered however, that my friend's newer
laptop model had this really squeaky keys... like listening to mice when I type.
lol
Ouch, Nera. Wouldn't want to be in your shoes.. *sympathy* Don't worry, we'll
here for you! Don't care about that jerk, if he is mean to you, just remember
that he's a lowlife. I hate mean people who are just out to get everyone for no
good reason... Anyway... don't let me get you down. Be happy!
Uzu! It's been a while... yup, I was totally selling that book! Haha.
Hey, Maplerose was here! Shucks, I wasn't here...
Enjoying my summer break, Crystalmaiden87? It has its ups and downs but...yup!
You?
Yeah, Minitokyo's been having trouble lately... Last week, the server 'blacked
out' a couple of times. I couldn't get on at all on Wednesday and Thursday. And
now, a couple of thumbnails have gone black... Ah well... I still love
Minitokyo!
I hope the Nabari No Ou category will be approved too! I haven't got any answer
yet... and since a couple of mods have retired (sob), namely Saikusa (who was in
charge of that thread) and kuroimisa (the wall mod) , I wonder how Minitokyo
will fare.. Makes me wonder; will Maplerose, bromithia and the rest be
recruiting other moderators then? Hmmm...
Hey we seem to be online at the same time! It's 10pm here; you? Hope to see
kashikosa..
Hope to see other members here... how about setting up some little competition
or other to liven things up? Like one of my groups RainFalling Love
(http://rainfallinglove.minitokyo.net/).
Which reminds me! *cough*..advertisement time..*cough* Would anyone want to join
RainFalling Love? It's not a group that completely consists of elites and we
aren't as famous as say, Paint~o~rama and Vector Wallers.... But what I love
about this group is the people! I can meet a lot of personalities here.. and it
was my first group where I met some of my first friends on Minitokyo. Everyone
makes an effort to keep the group lively and with Haven100's new competition, we
are particularly active. ^.^ It's a group that mainly supports (loves!) hetero
romance, but we are all pals there so it's like a social club. Haha. Come along
and take a look, people!
Hii! Yes! Exams are over! I'm freee! Well, not completely. I still have this
pesky project to finish up and hand in tomorrow. It's evil, setting the dateline
like this... But whatever. I'm here!
Haven! You have to tell us more about the Scavenger Hunt! You must! You
will put up a group announcement, right? Let us know all about it?
Welcome, MoonFangs90! Hope you enjoy it here!
Hello there, Yulia! Nice to know that you've been busy with art. ^.^
Everything seems okay now, priincess...
Hope to see you back soon, Zel. Let the Scavenger Hunt be your motivation!
Erm.. Happy Birthday, Fantasyillusion. Good luck in your finals.
Nera, so you followed Aali's advice? Well, now, you know who he really
is.
A new round already?! That felt rather quick..
Darn, I meant to comment and agree with almost all the anime recommended, but I was too busy! Gomen!
Okay, I'll answer question 6 : 60 friends (o,o) plus 44 anime = 104
Oh, and
I kinda guessed that all the questions are sort of related to you.. that's why I
knew that you were probably past episode 14 of DGM. :P Oh, and so which group
was it that still had its layout? No one could answer that..
Luckily, I had a nap earlier.. or I might have fallen asleep.. Doesn't help that Haven's new music surprised me and made me lost count twice.. You didn't do that on purpose, did you?
Aaliyah! It's been too long! And gosh, you and Salma seem SO busy! And you're moving around so much.. Thanks for remembering us, even so! So, you're going to a course to learn how to write well? Cool... Hey, if the animal section gets updated, what animal will I be?
And I
agree about the music.. most of the time, I turn it off..
What about something more lyrical?
Hey, priincess likes Saiunkoku Monogatari as well! ^.^ Nice to know someone else is a fan.. Actually, Temari loves it too.. but she's got exams so she didn't come here..
Sweet Miku's banner is cute! Hope it gets added into the banner section too.. but then, priincess' banners haven't been added either..
Aww.. Salma, you're sweet.. Ooh, going green, it seems! I wouldn't mind working at a park, myself ^.^ Only my schedule's kind of full with studying.. sigh.. not that it helps much.. I've got a study block *rolls eyes* Anyway, once again, you ARE smart! 100 for a Bio essay! And the topic looks complicated too. Heck, we here, are so 'kiasu' (competitive) with our 12 subjects *bleep* and yet, compared to your standard, our Bio is pretty lousy. I was like @.@ when I saw your topic.. I don't believe we start learning that topic until we're like, 18.. Okay, totally having a bimbo moment.. What's up with me using all this "like" and "totally" all of a sudden!?!
So, I have 12 subjects... getting a few As doesn't really help since we are supposed to try and score close to all As.. And the ones I scored in are Math, and all the subjects related to English Essay Writing. The others.. sink.. Anyhow! That's all too depressing so let's move on to brighter topics! Actually, I like Blood+ too! I should have said so earlier! Sorry. Oh and one anime at a time. Keep the ammo in reserve, Salma.
Can't think of a really A-standard, good review for what I want to recommend... so maybe, I will tomorrow.. So I'll just say that it's Honey and Clover! And give a casual, chara-based review...
This is a slice-of-life anime, revolving around five art college students and their relationships. There's our main chara, Takemoto, who comes off as a bit shy and naive, but has a heart, and strong will. Not an artistic nature, but has a quiet and observant nature. Most of the narrative is from him and we get to see a special growing up arc for him, that concerns some tough travelling.. Loved the anime art then.
Hagu, a young lady who ought to be over twenty... but looks like like a twelve year old!
He has skills in nearly everything he puts his mind to. Unfortunately, he is too fickle. So, he ends up doing odd jobs all the time, to the extend that he keeps on having to repeat the same college year since he misses the classes.
But he isn't really.. He has a crush on an older woman, Rika, who he works for in her company. But it seems severely one-sided to the point that Mayama gets labelled as 'stalker' by Morita. :P He also has rivalry with one of his colleagues, Norita (or something like that) but in actual fact, they seem really alike.. This becomes rather poignant especially in the middle of the first season and the rest of the second. Mayama isn't very artistic. His skills lie in organization, really, so I guess he must be studying design at the art college.. Mayama is rather concerned for his best friend, Ayumi, but he doesn't seem to be able to cope with her feelings for him..
Ayumi, as said is Mayama's best friend, and she also becomes Hagu's first friend. She has an open and confident demeanour, which along with her good looks, makes her rather attractive to guys, to the point her male childhood friends are like her fan club..
Yet,
Mayama can't love her.. a bitter fact since Ayu is bestowed on him. Try as she
might, she can't get him to love her and can't get herself to let him go..
Takemoto has feelings for Hagu, while Hagu is confused as to whether she likes or hates Morita.. He does bother her so, with all those weird tricks and schemes.. Her uncle's protectiveness does seem a little much, as well... And to add on, we have Ayu-Mayama-Rika-(maybe)Norita. Complicated..
Well, loved the watercolours used for the art and the music was spot on, most of the time! This is from J.C. Staff too.. so it ought to be good!
Oops, long post..
Hi hi! Haven't replied in a week..
Me wonders what kashikosa and abul would think seeing their group become a 'small talk cafe'. Haha. We'll keeping it alive and having a bit of fun, at least..
Where's abul anyway? I thought he said that he would be back after a month? It's been a month and more already.. Salma hasn't come by either..
Hey, what a coincidence that you both lived in Jakarta, at one point! Flooding can be an issue here too.. .I remember, when I was a kid, and they hadn't fixed the draining system and all that.. the floodwater would be up to the third step of the stairs.. We were like, "do you think we'll see some snakes in there?" "Crocodile!" "Haha, no school!" ... brings back memories..
In our capital city.. jams are way too common. I hate trying to navigate the roads when it's rush hour time. I mean, someone will find some way or other to avoid most of the heavy jams but that means we'll be sitting in the car/taxi, all cramped together, going through toll booth after toll booth.. Sometimes, the taxi driver even drives us towards the wrong way just for extra cash..
I
rather use the LRT, provided someone comes with me. Thankfully, I don't live
there. Would be major distraction, what with all the shops and manga
stores..
O.O Temari, you move around quite a bit, don't you? Wow, and both Singapore and China are such competitive places too.. Shanghai?
And I bet your Chinese name isn't that bad..mine's considered a little too smple.

Does
this theme have anything really to do with Studio Ghibli movies?
You know... this is becoming really cultural, don't you think?
Hehe.. did I get Haven into a watch-D-Gray-Man spree? Hmm.. apparently already up to the 2nd ending right? Where are you getting your videos from, anyway?
Question 5 : Episode 14 is where the 2nd ending is..
Actually I was actually running through a blog to find that..
.
Then I thought, "This is stupid, just google it, idiot."
Ah well... Okay, thought of something to recommend; Saiunkoku Monogatari.
Saiunkoku Monogatari translates to Colourcloud Palace. And it sure is colourful. ^.^ Set in a place that looks suspiciously like Ancient China, this anime is about Kou Shuurei, a young girl who lives in poverty... and yet her house is huge... O.O A sure sign that she isn't all she seems.. And yup, so it is. This confident lady can teach unruly students, bake 'pau's to die for, brew fragrant tea (well, better than that bitter concoction her dad cooks up, anyway) , clean that enormous house of hers, and is super-intelligent to boot! Yet.. she doesn't seem to have a clue about some things..like the fact that Seiran, the guy she grew up with, is dropping hints..
.
Anyway, one day, surprise, surprise, she is asked to marry the emperor! Well,
with tons of money offered, she says yes, of course.
But
it ain't a fairytale marriage.. the emperor isn't exactly agreeing to this
marriage..
Saiunkoku's art, in my opinion, is rather attractive, with oriental details and a lovely colour scheme. And yes, lots of bishies, go feast your eyes, girls! *rolls eyes* The characters are all rather memorable, with their little quirks and flaws, despite the fact that some have murmured that if you change the hairstyles of the guys, you would be confused as to who's who..
. Story
and plot is a treat, with mystery, royal powerplay, a little fantasy, thriller
and yes... romance. I suppose this is something like reverse harem, though I
never really focused on that. To get a good idea of all it has to offer; go
watch it, duh!
Hope you liked that little review, guys! ^.^
P.S. Guess we're all cursed then..
Yep, got to keep my place..
Surprise surprise! Salma's BACK! You've been gone ages!
I forgive you! I wasn't even mad or anything.. .Aww.. sounds like you've been having a tough month, Salma! Don't worry, you'll do great, since you're so smart.. gambatte!
My exams? Heh heh..
Not too good actually... I mean I passed everything, got a couple of As but
really, I ought to be doing better than this.. anyway..
Oh, this scavenger hunt? It's a lil contest Haven's set up. We can get points and all that, by recommending anime and having members agree with us; answering the question of the week; advertising the group, etc. You can see the list of things to do underneath the banners.. and the list of anime further up there! Psst... Actually, I think this is just Haven's way of making RainFalling Love more popular..
And she's also the one who introduced me to this group! ^.^
Hope everyone enjoys their day!
Glad to see that you guys are okay, sailorchiron, yothsothgoth! Was kind of worried..
Congratulations, yothsothgoth! Wish you many, many years of happy marriage!
Wow, nice walls.. I can't vector wings just yet.. not the really gorgeous sort at least..
See you around!
Answer to Question 2:
I think Haven100 has the ending song of Evangelion! it's called Beautiful World and is sung by Utada Hikaru. However.. I'm not completely sure since I've only heard a bit of it in the first few minutes of the movie's trailer.. so am I right?
Wow, temari's been busy! Well, I did coax her to be more active in the competition..
Temari, you actually counted our layouts!? Terlalu rajin lah.. (Too
hardworking)
Happy Really Belated Birthday, garnett! Sorry for being late..
Ooh, I liked Howl's Moving Castle too! I even joined the group here in Minitokyo!
Nice wall, Rika! Being original, I see..
Hmm... I recommend Nabari no Ou! I already wrote a review/rant last time.. I don't have to repeat myself, do I? Well, love the concept, the short-but-sweet action, the witty humour.. Love the apathetic-but-oddly-cute-even-while-manipulating main chara, Miharu! And the art.. Like i have said before, I am a sucker for watercolour backgrounds with nice details..
priincess has been busy too! Hope they join!
Before I forget, WELCOME kawaiihime04, behindhersecrets and SwEet-Miku! Enjoy yourselves!
I have heard of Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo too! And seen the screencaps! It's definitely on my to watchlist. It's a wonderful story and has beautiful art. Come on, people! Watch it!
No offence taken, Gaby! Floods aren't at all nice.. Well, everything has its ups and downs, I suppose..
Argh, I told you I haven't done han yu ping yin for a while, Temari! Yi is actually more for the Chinese character for 'one' right?
I hear that Jakarta's practically the safest city in Indonesia, though... wonder if I'm right.. But i suppose they weren't thinking about it, pollution-wise.
Oh and I've replied to your comment, Gaby! Do check..
Uh oh. Looks like I have to do something before fantasyillusion snatches my place!
Haha.
That was a hilarious video, for some reason, though very sad too and rather well animated.. The last part was LOL all right!
Yay, Temari likes D Gray Man too!
Nice work, Lunariha and Yulia!
Can I guess for Question 5 too? C.C? ^.^
See ya!
Uzu, you've graduated?! But you're 17, right? o.0
Well, I've been doing fine... so fine that today I got up and came online at 8am. :P
Nera! Don't strain yourself! We would be sad if you hurted yourself just to come here...
Haha.. true, I did leave out some scans.. but only because they had been quarantined..
Actually one of the chinese characters in my name has the symbol of rain, "yi"..
I've heard of it.. it's not quite my taste but I heard that it has a rather erm..outstanding style. A big burly man in a maid costume.. Had a laugh at the idea LOL.
Ooh pretty pictures! ^.^
Hey! our points have been added up! And it looks like members who join because we invite them get 2 points. Now that's encouraging.
Nice to know that you were inspired Haven, to write and draw fanfic. I have ideas d=but very little will and skill to get them out.. Instead, I've been watching D Gray Man.. Haha.
Okay, I think I will recommend D Gray Man then!
Summary:
Allen Walker is an exorcist, part of the Black Order that exists to exterminate the Akuma, and save the suffering souls that were used to make the Akuma. Their primary enemy is the Millennium Earl, a devilish character whose very demeanor tells us that he is up to no good. Allen Walker, try as he might to live his life to the full, is prominent because not only is his arm an Anti-Akuma Weapon, he is cursed with a strange left eye... There is definitely a dark theme.. but thankfully plenty of laughs, action and hope as well!
Animation is good, clean and attractive. Music has its ups and downs, but the good pieces are great and the others are all a matter of taste, really. Story is intriguing. And I really like Allen. And Lavi. Haha, both have problems with one eye. And the side characters are memorable, a definite plus...so.. what not to like?!
Hmm... Haven, since I've advertised Minitokyo once.. does it count if I advertise RFL or MT again?
Sel: You're not answering me... but it's okay.. it's just a simple question; you are reading Dogs, right?
Haven... eBay?
I
guess you really like shoujo.. ^.^
merged: 06-02-2008 ~ 11:57am
oh and this might sound a bit out of nowhere, but..Haven, wanna be friends?
Okay! Nabari no Ou category has been made! Though... it seems like all the art and scans haven't been moved yet. And I made a stupid mistake by including manga Artist.. T.T I didn't think that I had to follow it so strictly.. But anyway! It's there!
Rainy season for you, Temari? Well, I think normally there should be more rain here.. but then, for some reason, we went through a period of nearly a week with absolutely no rain.. The HEAT! And then we heard thunder twice in the day, the rain bugs even came, but the rain didn't.. T.T Finally.. thankfully, third time lucky! Or we would have died from the heat.. now, it is raining regularly. Normal Malaysian weather! ^.^
Haha. A lot of my posts here in Minitokyo sound like persuasive writing, even my comments on art sound like that too. I'm just too bored, I suppose.. I used to write all these dramatic short reviews for books, especially in RFL. Yet the posts became WAY too long..LOL.
See ya! I will try and find the movies then..
WOW... Gaby's a doctor... so smart! Doctor Gaby... I join St John Ambulance but I'm almost useless in bandaging.. haha. Don't tell the other doctors here.. i would be 'axed' if they found out. Hippocratic oath? Sounds like hypocrite oath lol. I hope that isn't the cse. :P
Thanks for joining Rainfalling Love! It's nice having friends in my groups.. I really appreciate it!
Prove that ads work.. ^.^
Oh, Temari, I'm hardworking.. just not always for the right thing. Haha.
The AMV for Spirited Away reminded me of how long it has been since I watched the movie.. I don't even remember watching the ending! Well, I remember Sen saying "we'll meet again" but that's it.. The scene with them falling reminds me of Cat Returns.. ^.^ Well, since it's Studio Ghibli's too, no worry about copyright.
The
original MV is a bit old but it's still lovely. Thanks for sharing!
Oh, and Gaby... I've started reading Mort.. It was better than I thought it would be! Death actually seems more human than the humans themselves despite his er..deathly appearance..
See you. Hey the thunder's stopped. Which means I can go on being online! Goodie!
Hurray! Advertising worked! WELCOME GABY_CHAN AND TEMARI! I'm so happy that you are here! ^.^ I certainly hope that you will enjoy your time here! Oh, Haven, can they join in the contest too?
Hehe, I'm currently first? Erm, I agreed with Yulia's anime so add one mark for her right?
Yay, Sel likes Samurai Champloo too! Hey you read Dogs right? I like that manga as well! ^.^ I'm up to chapter 28 because the scanlations are not done. What about you?
Thunder's booming.. don't want my computer fried lol.
See you!
Saw the videos, Gaby-chan! Hmm... Princess Mononoke looks quite interesting and I love their theme! Spirited Away's... I'm afraid I wasn't quite paying attention to it..
Anyway, yes, mods are busy busy! Can't afford to badger them for the category.. still, I really do wonder if they are getting help or not? I think they do need some assistance... can't depend on Sheqel alone to maintain the website's server existence.. and all the bugs.. ah well.
Please join Rainfalling Love! Not only will it help me in the contest, I would love having another pal there.. My closer friends there are all so busy ao I haven't seen them online for ages... T.T Well, at least, the other members are friendlier to me now. Don't worry about participation. i will 'prompt' you so that you won't ever be at loss at what to say..
Okay, see you!
Whoo! That means Yulia will have four points! Wow.. I couldn't find the answer when I searched with google..
congrats!
Happy Memorial Day to you too, Haven! The theme I'm interested in? SKY! Haha, ain't that typical? But I'm still trying to learn how to vector my own pics and all... I'm quite okay with extraction, extending and all that, but I want to be better than that...
Glad to know someone here likes Samurai Champloo! Oh and you're going to watch GunXSword too? Hehe. It's not the best anime ever but it's fairly entertaining and it has a certain theme that will make you ponder the difference between evil and good.. And I liked Van's weapon and style.. ^.^ So enjoy!
I watched part of Ouran and yes, it's great! Funny how the richies are all so weird.. and shh... don't spoil the secret any further! :P
Oh wait.. that means Yulia will have 5 points then...
Haha.
Nice vector, Lunariha! You have a crush on Lelouch all right.. Will she get points too?
I hope so..
Hmm... what can I do now to get points? Oh I know. *Advertises Minitokyo ...again*
Please don't try to look for me on Friendster though. I'm seriously inactive there..
See you!

Oh and while I have not watched much of Jigoku Shoujo Futakomori, the theme is alluringly dark and creepy.. Due to my recent lack of patience, I'm not going off to look for the episodes though since it's mainly episodic.... But it's good, from what I hear! And I like the designs! ^.^ Points for dear Haven!
Yatta! Gaby's back! I'll listen to the music when I have time... and don't worry about 'infecting' us! I just 'advertised' my other group here and then 'promoted' Samurai Champloo over there. Haha.
Thanks for the congrats! It's a bit early though.. I am not exactly hopeful about the majority of my results.. but at least I have more free time..
Ah well, life goes on, can't do anything about it. time is merciless. It doesn't let one go back and do it over... but it's one new experience every stage, for everyone.
See you.
hey there! I did a little invite on one of groups Studio Ghibli (http://studio-ghibli.minitokyo.net) and so here it is!
Hehe. Proud of me, Haven?
Aww, Nera, how disappointing it must be! Never mind, he's definitely not worth it. Forget about him! :p
Hmm... Salma's been really busy, I think. And she said that she doesn't really know how to do the layout thing and all... so it really should go to Haven. Oh and hey! Give melymay marks for helping out an admin! ^.^ And also, since you agree with Yulia, she gets marks too!
Haha. Aren't I charitable?
Beautiful layout, Haven! It doesn't go with the theme I'm planning for but I bet someone would love it. Why don't you put it out on the userpage customisation forum and ask?
Anime recommendation; WARNING, this might be long.
Samurai Champloo
An anime that stands out for its daring, bold streak and fusion of R&B as well as good old Japanese culture. I find it a hilarious yet profound watch, and oddly educative. Right from the beginning, we are told, "This work is not an accurate historical portrayal. LIKE WE CARE. Now shut up and enjoy the show." Which pushes us right into the defiant and cynical mood that characterizes Samurai Champloo at once. :P
Despite the fact that the story is set in feudal Japan, we get a blend of hip hop, modern culture, titbits of western cum the east history, Japanese traditions, fighting arts and best of all, humour you will never get back then! haha. Summary: Fuu works in a restaurant until she accidentally irritates some thugs. She is 'rescued' by Mugen...for an odd price. Mugen kicks the thugs' a**es but makes an even worse ruckus. Enter Jin and a fight begins. Unfortunately circumstances are not meant to be and they are interrupted and sent to execution. One thing leads to another and they end up tagging Fuu to look for a specific someone.. very much a reluctant trio.
[img=http://img360.imageshack.us/img360/2692/showphpkb2.th.jpg]
First character : Fuu. A 15 year old girl with a hardworking but stubborn streak, working as a waitress, Fuu might come off as your typical 'pretty face' shoujo; but nope. Along with the other two main characters, she is not to be underestimated! Possibly useless in fighting, she is still formidable as this girl stores a dash of cunning, much determination and... an unbelievable appetite! Pics:

Second chara: Mugen. Comes off as surly, selfish, and stubborn. And sticks to it. Haha. No worries, there IS character development. But without this character, the show wouldn't be so darn funny. Mugen is a wandering samurai who fights for ...food.
*blush* It's hard not to fall for him after I watched the last few episodes, forgive me. At first, one would think that he is the typical stereotype for the 'cool guy'. Dark locks, mysterious, attractive demeanor... but in the end, flat.. however, thankfully, that's not all there is to him! This samurai possesses deadly skills yet he too is a wanderer, hiring himself out. Stoic and calm as he is, he too has his dark secret. It isn't too obvious, luckily. But man, he looked so good in the last few episodes..
Mugen and him hold a grudge against each other because both are equal in a fight ... a fight that was not resolved due to interference... and they sure don't like each other..
All in all, Samurai Champloo proves to be thrilling despite its somewhat episodic style. With its disregard for real, down-to-earth facts, it pokes fun at some issues, providing a humorous watch that is comparable to that of Ouran... and somehow, it makes me more aware of Japan's historical and political issues..
I definitely recommend it to those who can keep an open mind and want a good mix of laughs, action, mind stimulation and..hey, maybe even some love. Oh and I loved their ending theme "Shiki no Uta".
Told you it would be long.
I
should write a proper review for Minitokyo someday..
See you! *gathers points*

Muahaha, I pushed loads of comments out.
Hello! To everyone!
. Ah well, I'm back!
I forgot to tell you guys, I think... but I had exams for 3 weeks so I didn't get to go online. And when I tried to comment twice, Minitokyo was having probs and my comment just disappeared. Hence, my silence..
Welcome back, nisnoopy! I don't know who you are... but I sure hope I will. Laptop? Nice.. so convenient. I remembered however, that my friend's newer laptop model had this really squeaky keys... like listening to mice when I type. lol
Ouch, Nera. Wouldn't want to be in your shoes.. *sympathy* Don't worry, we'll here for you! Don't care about that jerk, if he is mean to you, just remember that he's a lowlife. I hate mean people who are just out to get everyone for no good reason... Anyway... don't let me get you down. Be happy!
Uzu! It's been a while... yup, I was totally selling that book! Haha.
Hey, Maplerose was here! Shucks, I wasn't here...
Enjoying my summer break, Crystalmaiden87? It has its ups and downs but...yup! You?
Yay! No more talking to myself.. ^.^
Yeah, Minitokyo's been having trouble lately... Last week, the server 'blacked out' a couple of times. I couldn't get on at all on Wednesday and Thursday. And now, a couple of thumbnails have gone black... Ah well... I still love Minitokyo!
I hope the Nabari No Ou category will be approved too! I haven't got any answer yet... and since a couple of mods have retired (sob), namely Saikusa (who was in charge of that thread) and kuroimisa (the wall mod) , I wonder how Minitokyo will fare.. Makes me wonder; will Maplerose, bromithia and the rest be recruiting other moderators then? Hmmm...
Hey we seem to be online at the same time! It's 10pm here; you? Hope to see kashikosa..
Hope to see other members here... how about setting up some little competition or other to liven things up? Like one of my groups RainFalling Love (http://rainfallinglove.minitokyo.net/).
Which reminds me! *cough*..advertisement time..*cough* Would anyone want to join RainFalling Love? It's not a group that completely consists of elites and we aren't as famous as say, Paint~o~rama and Vector Wallers.... But what I love about this group is the people! I can meet a lot of personalities here.. and it was my first group where I met some of my first friends on Minitokyo. Everyone makes an effort to keep the group lively and with Haven100's new competition, we are particularly active. ^.^ It's a group that mainly supports (loves!) hetero romance, but we are all pals there so it's like a social club. Haha. Come along and take a look, people!
Okay, i'm done, I think.
Okay! I will answer Question 1: It's Toshihiko Seki! I just looked up google to find that... haha. http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2008-05-21/anime-expo-to-host-voice-actor-toshihiko-seki
Wow! The group's become active! Yay! No more dry spell! :P
I want to stay and chat but I have to get going... see you!
Hello! Oh so that's how the competition is going to be... So I just answer in this guestbook, right?
Hmm... I don't keep track with that sort of issue. *points at 'Question of the week'.
I suppose I will go and look it up then..
Question! Do we have to answer and show proof of the invites all in the same post?
I'll start answering in my next post...
See you! And do put up a group announcement so we all know!
Hii! Yes! Exams are over! I'm freee! Well, not completely. I still have this pesky project to finish up and hand in tomorrow. It's evil, setting the dateline like this...
Well, now, you know who he really is.
See you, I can't stay long, got project to do..
More details about the hunt please!
